| This series has always been in the back of my head since I was in high school. I’ve done sketches over the years of this red-headed sort of avatar of mine. Kind of based on me if I were 50 lbs. lighter and more handsome. I’ve always enjoyed science fiction, so it was my dream to create a series based in space. One thing: at least up until 2005, I never saw any gay guys in space. So I wanted my protagonist to be gay. Thus we get HIS Mission acronym, Horny in Space Mission. This first set of comics was created using pen and paper. The scans were crude and were cleaned up using Photoshop to color them. I have toyed with the idea of recoloring it using the original scans but opted to up the resolution of the Jpeg files using Stable Diffusion AI. The quality improved somewhat, though I had to go back and touch things up. So enjoy this digital remaster of the original first comic of HIS Mission in all its 2005 quality.
